At Sound & Lighting, we offer a delivery service on all our products within Sydney.
The delivery fee varies depending on your location and amount of equipment that needs to be delivered, access to the location and timings.
Our standard delivery service hours are between 8am – 4pm, 7 days a week. We can deliver and collect outside of these hours at an additional fee.
Our operational team delivers all hire equipment in a neat pile at ground level in one location. We can provide full set up if required for a small fee, and is recommended if you do not have the technical knowledge to do so.
Additional charges may apply to the following:
- Equipment to be taken beyond the ground level of a building
- The location is more than 20 metres from where our vehicle can park (example – in shopping centres, parks and reserves
- If your hire items need to go up levels via stairs, escalators, lifts.
- Delivery or collections outside our normal operations of delivery 8am – 4pm
- A specific time of delivery – as we deliver within a 4-hour time window, if you require a set time within a hour, additional charges may apply
- If you require a large quantity of hire equipment which requires additional crew
Customer Collection & Drop Off Hours
We don’t offer a showroom service due to the gear regularly being out on hire. All products can be viewed online and questions are welcome via phone or email. Bookings must be made prior to customer collections

We service all of Sydney Metro and offer a select range of products interstate. If you are outside of the metro zone, feel free to contact us as we still may be able to deliver to you for a small charge.
There are many factors that determines the delivery costs. It can depend on your location, the size of your booking, access to location, a specific time of delivery and more.

Hire of our items are for the day. If you require the equipment for multiple days, please let us know and we will discount the additional days for you.
We accept cash, EFT/Bank deposit and credit card. See our payment options for more info.
There are many ample street parking for you when collecting. However, for ease and efficiency, we recommend customers to reverse back into our driveway. We suggest customers to do the same when dropping off. We advise customers to inform us the time of collection for preparation as well as our delivery trucks will occupy the drive way from 3pm onwards.
Certainly can! Your nominated person must bring some form of identification such as drivers license and inform us the name of the booking.
Yes, we are happy to show you how to set up and operate it. However, all our products are very easy to operate and ready to go!
Yes, you may request for additional items as long as we have availability in stock. Extra payment on additional items are required on pick up if not done prior to collection.
